Danielle has been involved with horses since childhood and knew early on she wanted a career in the equine industry. She has always had a passion and keen interest in equine rehabilitation and therapies, biomechanics, and working with horses that needed help overcoming challenges with both physical injuries and often mental trauma. Being born with Cervical Dystonia, she understands overcoming adversity and limitations due to pain and how muscle tension and improper balance from it, cause restrictions in the body, muscles, and tissue, affecting movement and overall wellness.  

Danielle is trained in classical dressage through Grand Prix Levels.  She has competed in USDF through Prix St. George and received USDF Performance Awards for Training, First and Second Level. She has also received multiple USDF University Diplomas. 

She continues to actively compete in Dressage and Western Dressage and holds her judge's certification for Western Dressage. 

Danielle went on to receive a degree in Equine Management along with completing additional courses in biomechanics, functional anatomy, exercise physiology, equine massage, cranial sacral therapeutic techniques, BEMER PEMF wave therapy, and remedial strengthening exercises. Over the years, she's worked closely with veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors, and other equine health practitioners when rehabilitating horses.  The knowledge she has gained of postural balance, and biomechanics of horse and rider helps provide additional insight in her therapeutic work with horses.  

Since 2003, Danielle has been providing Therasage equine massage, myofascial release, and other adjunctive therapies.  Depending on the horse's needs, she incorporates a variety of equine therapeutic techniques:

· BEMER Equine Blanket (PEMF wave therapy)

· SURE FOOT Stability Pads

· Kinesiology Taping (K-Tape)

· Stretching 

· Specific Strengthening Exercises

Shows and Events
DK Services is available for horse shows. clinics and other events throughout the year and travels regularly to various barns and clients in Wisconsin in the Polk and St Croix county areas as well as Minnesota in the Washington County area.
